That's entertainment

CNBC is airing a program right now with Christiane Amanpour, Al Franken, and Victoria Clarke. They are talking about Iraq. Oy vey.

Christiane Amanpour is a loon. She has just revealed that she was intimidated by the administration and its "foot soldiers" at Fox News (?!) into basically scrubbing her reports from Iraq during the war. Interesting that a veteran reporter who seems to be pretty well respected would be "intdimidated" into reporting something in a way she doesn't want to. Usually reporters of her "caliber" have a semi-free pass. Not to mention that this alleged intimidation doesn't seem to stop the rest of her network from reporting the news as they seem fit. What a sissy.

Al Franken is just a freak. Since when is he considered a political guru? Holy cow. The only thing he seems to spew is his hatred of Fox News and Bill O'Reilly. He has revealed that Brit Hume inaccurately informed us that more people were killed in California over the past 5 months than Iraq-- so Californians are more likely to be killed than our soldiers in Iraq. Oh, and Al is going to take that tidbit from Brit Hume to the soldiers on his next USO tour, because apparently the soldiers will find that funny (suppose he's too stupid to realize that our armed forces actually like Bush and Fox News. Strange how that works). Take that, Brit!

Victoria Clarke was her same self. She seems out of place with these people, speaking of facts and keeping emotion out of her points. It was pretty comical to see her sandwiched between these two loons. She must have been asking God what she did to land herself in that lovely position...

I wonder why people are so annoyed by Fox... could it be because they report the news a little differently than other networks on the air? Sheesh, I can't stand CNN, therefore I don't tune it. Isn't that the way it's supposed to work? If only Al realized that he is just giving them more free press. And if Christiane only realized that she just sounded like sour grapes... Rupert Murdoch is certainly smiling somewhere tonight.
