This must hurt

I'm sure it's awful when the cause in which you have invested so much suddenly comes and smacks you in the face.

Anti-War Groups Fear Loss of Momentum

International Answer, which is organizing the events, will retool its message as "occupation isn't liberation," said Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, a member of the group's steering committee.

"We believe that the U.S. must withdraw from the Middle East," she said. The group draws support from the Free Palestine Alliance, some communists and socialists, as well as clergy, unions, academics and others.

It is so satisfying to see these groups and the ignoramuses who marched with them flailing. The scenes of jubilant Iraqis has totally discredited them and their message. All along, they have claimed to speak for the majority of Americans, while they spoke for a loud and destructive minority. They claimed to care about the suffering Iraqis, but wanted to keep their murderous dictator in power. And now they have been proven fools.

The Americans who marched with them have, until now, ignored their true agendas. They are now exposed, they can no longer hide behind their so-called humanitarian message. And these groups will ultimately become more and more estranged from mainstream America. Look at the quote above. Would YOU, as an American, march behind a group with such affiliations? I know I wouldn't. Maybe, one day, they will just head to the Middle East and jump in front of an evil Zionist entity bulldozer. At least they will find their friends there-- those who cried with them at the fall of Saddam's regime.
