Straight from the PRC

(that would be the People's Republic of California)

It's nonsense like this that makes me ashamed to be a Californian. Specifically, a San Francisco Bay Area Californian:

Man calls yellow ribbons 'offensive'

Well, Mr. Yatovitz, I'm offended by your bad attitude and your desire to run a city in which you don't even live. If you are so offended, why not run for Mayor on an anti-ribbon platform. That'll get the voters behind ya!

The kicker:

In his complaint to the city, Yatovitz mentioned his belief that the soldiers involved in the Iraq theater are actually criminals.

"I find the yellow ribbons on city property offensive to my senses, as they are posted in support of violators of international law. I do support our troops that are not involved in illegal activity," Yatovitz wrote to the council.

In other words, he doesn't support any troops risking their lives overseas to take out an evil dictator, because, according to his own private World Court, it's against the law. Well, when those criminal troops come home, perhaps we can have them open a little, illegal can of Whoop Ass on your pathetic self, your Honorable Dumb-Ass.
