Menlo Park Man in Doghouse for Barking at Police Dog

You could call it a case of barking up the wrong tree.

A Menlo Park man faces a possible year in jail and $1000 fine for barking at a Palo Alto police dog.

Richard "Tyson" Dillon has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of interfering with a police officer. Police say he was taunting the canine cop, but Dillon's lawyer says his client was just exercising his freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech.... uh huh. Too bad the doggie didn't bite his nose off.
